HTG awarded in The Industrial Investment of the Year

HTG were awarded in the contest of The Industrial Investment of the Year, organised by Tereny Inwestycyjne Info (Investment Plots Info). The winners were awarded on  15th April in Lubomirski Palace in Warsaw, during the First National Industrial Investment Forum.

The goal of the competition was to selection the best industrial investments in 2014. The event met with great interest among the Polish and foreign investors. Applications for the seven categories of competition were sent by dozens of companies that had been involved in the most interesting investments last year.

The members of the jury were representatives of: Business Centre Club, Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises, National Chamber of Commerce, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Association of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Poland. After a lively discussion the jury selected the most important and most interesting investment projects of 2014.

High Technology Glass Poland took part in two of seven categories and was awarded in both of them.

 

In the category of Polish Investment of the Year the jury took into account a number of created job positions, capital expenditures and the introduction of innovative production solutions.

First Place: DRUTEX S.A. - Opening of the European Centre for Woodwork (ECS).

Second Place: GRUPA NOWY STYL – The construction of a modern production plant in Jasło and implementation of innovative products on the European market.

Third Place: HIGH TECHNOLOGY GLASS POLAND SP. Z O.O. – The implementation of innovative technology for the production of heated glass.

 

In the category of Innovative Investment of the Year the jury chose the projects with the highest degree of innovation. The jury decided to give two awards for the second place to two companies becuase of the very high opinions on both projects.

First Place: BOWIL BIOTECH SP. Z O.O. – The implementation of new manufacturing technologies bionanocellulose (bacterial cellulose).

Second Place: HIGH TECHNOLOGY GLASS POLAND SP. Z O.O. – - The implementation of innovative technology for the production of a heated glass panels.

Second Place: TECHPLAST SP. Z O.O.- The implementation of a unique technology to produce the world's lightest high-pressure cylinders.

Third Place: Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Polpharma S.A. - Establishment of the research and development center in Gdańsk Science and Technology Park
